This is the final announcement for the conference:
"DISKS OF GALAXIES: KINEMATICS, DYNAMICS AND PERTURBATIONS"
to be held in Puebla, Mexico on November 5-9, 2001.

ABSTRACTS BOOK AND PROCEEDINGS
------------------------------
All the submitted abstracts will be included in an abstract booklet,
which will be distributed at the registration time. If you have not
submitted your abstract yet, please do it ASAP in order to include it
in the booklet.
The proceedings will be published by the Publications of the
Astronomical Society of the Pacific Conference Series. Information
about deadlines, and alloted number of pages will be given during the
conference.

REGISTRATION
------------
Registration of the participants for the conference will begin on
Sunday Nov 4th at 8:00 PM at the Hotel Colonial. The registration
will continue on Monday morning at the conference venue.
The registration fee for the conference is 200 US$ and should be paid
to the secretary at the registration desk in cash.
The fee includes
* A copy of the conference proceedings
* Reception on Sunday evening
* Morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks, Monday to Friday
* Wednesday lunch and afternoon excursion to Cacaxtla
Important: PLEASE NOTE THAT PAYMENTS AT THE REGISTRATION DESK SHOULD
BE MADE IN CASH ONLY (US dollars or Mexican pesos; no checks or credit
cards). PAYMENTS FOR HOTELS ROOMS WILL BE MADE DIRECTLY AT THE HOTEL DESK.

Autumn in Puebla has mild temperatures 15-20 C during the day, but can be

WEDNESDAY afternoon --- Tour to the ruins of Cacaxtla
THURSDAY night - Conference Dinner at the Hotel Camino Real
The conference dinner is OPTIONAL and will have a cost of
350 Mexican pesos (or the equivalent in US$). This cost covers
dinner and drinks (tequila, wine and soft drinks). The dinner
will be accompanied by mexican music and a dancing afterwards.

DAILY LUNCHES
-------------
We have got special prices for lunches at the Hotel Colonial. The price
is 60 Mexican pesos per person per day. They include typical dishes from
the region. Tickets for lunches will be sold at the registration desk,
however, we would like to know the approximate number of people interested
in order to make the arrangements. If you are one of them, please write to
Rosario Sanchez (secregh@inaoep.mx).
