Map of Mykonos, in the Cyclades Islands. We dived with the instructors
of "Dive Adventures" on some of the sites marked with flags in the
South of the island. We did nine boat dives, one shore dive (at night)
and one wreck dive over six days. It
was an awesome holiday! We have a bunch of great memories, some
photographs, and some new friends that we hope to be able
to see again soon.

En el transcurso de seis días hicimos once buceos: nueve
inmersiones de arrecife desde bote,
una inmersión nocturna en el arrecife de la playa, y también
visitamos un naufragio. Han sido unas vacaciones memorables, de las que no
sólo nos
quedan buenos recuerdos, sino también algunas fotografías, y
nuevos amigos a los que esperamos poder ver de nuevo pronto.

Gian Luigi and Laura, two astronomer friends,
return from a boat dive with Mirko (another of the instructors),
and make it towards the club.

Going down, David is to the left with a black mask, and I am to the
right with a blue
mask. We give the OK and say hello to Jean, our divemaster for the day,
who takes the underwater pictures.
David swims towards deeper parts of the reef.

saludamos a Jean, el guía de

David and I posing with a red starfish, which then looked so much closer! Me
holding another starfish, David holding a slug, and both observing an empty snail
shell.

David, "the archeologist", found a few pieces of broken amphoras, and
lets me hold the neck of one of them, that he pretends to use as a mug.
David, "el arqueólogo", encontró algunas piezas de ánforas
rotas, y me dejó sostener el cuello de una, de la que él
simula beber como si fuera una taza.
Some more marine life: a grouper, David looking at another grouper in
the distance, a 25 cm snail, a school of amberjacks, and a lobster
that just showed its antennas.
Algo más de vida marina: un mero, David mirando otro mero en la
lejanía, un
caracol de unos 25 cm, un cardumen de serviolas, y una langosta que
sólo nos enseñó los cuernos.

and feeling happy to have had such a beautiful experience.
