Postgraduate Fair was held at INAOE

Santa María Tonantzintla, Puebla, March 31, 2023. Nearly 300 university students from different entities of the country participated in the Postgraduate Fair that the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE) organized this day to disseminate the different programs of postgraduate degrees that it has.

In addition, it sought to reinforce the public calls to enter the INAOE master's and doctoral programs in August.
The event began at 10 am with a welcome message by Dr. Edmundo Antonio Gutiérrez Domínguez, General Director of the Institute. Subsequently, Dr. Francisco Renero Carrillo, director of Academic Training, gave a lecture on INAOE postgraduate courses and answered the students' doubts.

The program of activities also included visits to laboratories of all the substantive areas of the INAOE, as well as to telescopes. A fair made up of postgraduate stands as well as presentations and exhibitions from different laboratories was also installed. The attendees were also able to learn first-hand about some research projects and had the opportunity to talk with researchers and students from this Conacyt center.

In addition, the multi-award-winning team of autonomous drones from INAOE Quetzal C ++ offered a drone demonstration in the Institute's gardens.

INAOE has different postgraduate programs. Some are research oriented. Such is the case of programs in Astrophysics, Optics, Electronics, Computer Sciences, Space Science and Technology, Biomedical Sciences and Technologies. The postgraduate degree in Security Sciences and Technologies is technological, while the Exact Sciences Teaching program is professionally oriented.
The calls to enter the INAOE in August of this year are open and can be consulted at https://posgrados.inaoep.mx/convocatorias
