This School is aimed towards early graduate students (MSc/PhD) in Physics, Astronomy or Astrophysics from countries of the American continent. However, we will also consider final-year BSc students intending to enter a graduate program in Astronomy and Astrophysics.
To apply for the School, please fill in your academic information, motivation and a 3-page CV in the school application form before February 20th 2023.
As part of the application, you will also need to arrange two letters of recommendation to be sent to email@example.com by your supervisor, a professional scientist or the Head of your institution/department.
Submitting the Application Form does not guarantee that you will attend the School automatically. We expect to select 30 students who will be invited to participate in the School.
Note that if you are offered a place in 43rd ISYA-2023, you must be willing to attend the entire School (you cannot come for only a part of it).
- February 20th 2023: deadline to submit the online application.
- March 20th: students will be notified by email of the outcome of their applications. You will be asked to confirm that you received this email. If you must apply for a visa before coming to Mexico, this is the right time to submit your application to the Mexican Embassy in your home country.
- July 16th: Arrival at INAOE, Tonantzintla, Puebla, Mexico.
- July 17th: We will start the 43rd ISYA. Welcome!
