Data Analysis using the MEGARA pipeline

Tuesday, September 4 (3pm-6pm): 3-4pm: Preparing the Data Reduction Pipeline (DRP) SW/HW requirements (see section 3 of MEGARA cookbook for installation instructions) (20 min presentation + 40 min hands-on) Speaker: Sergio Pascual Ramírez Hands-on support: África Castillo Morales / Armando Gil de Paz Goal: In this hands-on session we will ensure that all participants fulfill the software and hardware requirements needed to carrying on the instalation of the MEGARA DRP and the subsequent MEGARA data reduction. Requirements: The requirements are different for Linux and Mac users since the installation instructions will be also different for those two platforms. 4-6pm: Instalation of MEGARA DRP / Guided reduction (30 min presentation + 1h30min hands-on) Speaker: Sergio Pascual Ramírez Hands-on support: África Castillo Morales / Armando Gil de Paz Goal: At the end of this session the participants should have their computers with the MEGARA DRP installed and ready to run. Some tests will be proposed to ensure that this is the case. A dataset of MEGARA LCB and MOS data has been also made accesible through the MEGARA project webpage in order to run these tests so to process the MEGARA data on the following day.
