Guillermo Haro 2018 Workshop: September 3-14, 2018, Tonantzintla, Puebla

Synergy between the GTC and GTM/LMT

Format of the Workshop

Format of the Workshop

The idea of the workshop is to create an environment for scientific discussions that will re-inforce on-going projects between the participants and/or lead to future projects. This workshop is especially organized to encourage collaborations that would make joint use of GTM and GTC, two of the largest facilities for which Mexican researchers have direct access to. For this purpose, we will follow the same format as in previous years. This involves scientific talks in the mornings and tutorial sessions in the evenings. The workshop will last for two weeks, with the middle weekend providing the participants an opportunity to go on an excursion to one of the many archaeological sites that are accessible from the city of Puebla. In addition, a cultural activity, followed by dinner would be organized on Wednesdays.

We strongly recommend all participants to attend the entire duration of two weeks. We are expecting to host about 40 scientists, around half of them invited (Key speakers and Tutorial instructors) and the other half through registration.
